Catholic Guilt Clothing is pleased to announce they will be hosting a one off chainmail workshop in Berlin while they are in town.
This class will be hosted at Backhaus Studio on the 12th and 13th of October from 12pm-6pm, with the option of doing one or two days.
In this class Catholic Guilt’s designer and creative director Ella will go through a selection of basic chainmail weaves, as well as teaching draping techniques - helping you create a wearable art piece of your very own.
In the one day class, you will learn basic chainmail weaves and you will have time to make something small for yourself such as jewellery, a glovelet, or a bralette, and in the two day class they will delve further into more advanced weaves, draping methods and creating larger pieces such as tops.
All components and tools will be provided for the class, with an assortment of stainless steel jump rings, semi-precious stones, religious iconography and other charms, and you can leave with your own piece at the end of the class. Snacks and drinks will also be provided for the day and will be included in your ticket price.
All classes will be taught in English.
